Knowledge of SQL or MySQL for web reporting and formatting. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships. Understanding of accessibility standards and experience implementing compliant interfaces. Experience with federal government branding standards is a plus. Ensure all web content conforms to Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 A/AA standards. Conduct accessibility testing using DHS Trusted Tester, ANDI, Axe, Lighthouse, WAVE, NVDA, or JAWS. Implement accessibility enhancements like ARIA roles, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, and screen reader support. Perform iterative testing during release cycles for ongoing compliance. Document test plans, results, and known limitations with recommendations. Prepare Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) using VPAT 2.0 templates when applicable. Secondary Requirements: Multimedia support services. Knowledge of Section 508 standards and accessibility testing tools. Ability to validate accessibility deliverables independently. Flexibility with development languages. Knowledge of responsive design. Collaborate with project leaders to facilitate adoption of modern stacks. Experience managing technical debt. Propose solutions for incomplete problem definitions. Experience working in team environments with shared development responsibilities. Understanding of testing, reproducibility, and code structuring for automation. Estimate effort and evaluate tradeoffs. Conduct code reviews. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, sprints, and timeboxing. Experience integrating with third-party systems. Basic understanding of database/query languages and web services. Helpful Experience: Consulting experience. Knowledge of security policies, OPSEC, SF-312, DHS MD 11042.1. Experience integrating UIs with content management systems.
