An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and skilled General Education Teacher specializing in Italian to work with high school students in a one-on-one capacity. This role is designed for teachers who are passionate about enhancing student learning experiences, particularly for those who are homebound. The position involves delivering engaging Italian language instruction to foster students' academic growth and cultural appreciation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction in Italian 1, tailored to meet the needs of each student.
• Develop lesson plans and educational materials that align with curriculum standards.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to optimize learning outcomes.
• Maintain regular communication with students, families, and school administration regarding educational goals and progress.

Qualifications:

• Valid general education certification for high school with an Italian endorsement.
• Initial Certification in Classroom Teacher Foreign Languages: Italian (grades 712) or a similar title.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and families.
