About the Technical Support for Production Operations Position: This role involves providing technical support for Production Operations at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Troy, Alabama. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the development and operation of automated test equipment for missile production assembly, integration, and testing. Creating and maintaining detailed test plans and procedures. Providing hands-on manufacturing floor support for electrical and electronic component integration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of military missiles. Interpreting engineering requirements from product data drawings, parts lists, specifications, and schematics. Demonstrating high-level electronic circuit testing and analysis skills for missile production and testing. Using statistical data to develop trend analyses for failure detection and conducting detailed failure analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field from an accredited college. Familiarity with testing and troubleshooting electronic circuits. U.S. Citizen able to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance; Lockheed Martin will assist with obtaining an Interim Secret Clearance. Ability to pass ATF background checks for approval as an "employee possessor" of explosives or ATF-regulated items. Desired Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics. Basic understanding of electronic circuits. Experience with electronic test equipment such as Digital Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Frequency Counter, and Network Analyzer. Strong hands-on skills in assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, industrial, or home equipment. Experience with programming languages like C, C++, C#, and software such as LabVIEW, LabWindows CVI, and TestStand with hardware integration is highly desirable.
