Job Title: Technical Recruiter – Engineering Focus

Salary / Pay Rate: $55–$60/hour (W2) | Equivalent to $110K–$120K annually

Duration: 4-month contract with potential to extend or convert to permanent

This is a high-priority, fast-moving opportunity to work directly with leadership and impact hiring efforts for specialized engineering roles in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Proactively source, engage, and screen candidates for complex engineering roles across electrical, mechanical, embedded systems, and software domains.
  • Utilize tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, and Honet to identify and qualify top-tier engineering talent.
  • Collaborate with the Director of HR and internal stakeholders to understand team needs and craft compelling outreach strategies.
  • Conduct initial interviews, evaluate technical alignment, and facilitate seamless handoffs to hiring managers.
  • Manage and track recruitment activity to ensure hiring milestones are met within tight timelines.

Here’s what our ideal candidate has:

  • At least 5 years of experience recruiting for engineering roles, either in-house or with an agency.
  • Demonstrated success filling roles such as Mechanical Engineer, Embedded Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Software Engineer, and more.
  • Strong communication skills, with an upbeat and approachable personality.
  • Resourceful, organized, and receptive to feedback; not tied to a rigid 9–5 mindset.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Honet, and other sourcing platforms to identify high-quality technical talent.
