The opportunity As a Tax Senior Manager, you will gain firsthand experience of the financial services industry by engaging with evolving state and local tax environments across banking, capital markets, insurance, and wealth and asset management clients. Your Key Responsibilities Expect a diverse range of projects and responsibilities. Skills And Attributes For Success Analyzing complex tax operations to provide meaningful insights Identifying opportunities and risks, communicating these effectively Researching market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor Developing strategic plans to improve clients’ tax activities Building long-term relationships by understanding clients’ business operations Supervising and mentoring a team of professionals to reach their potential Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field CPA, licensed Attorney, or IPT certification At least 8 years of experience in state and local Credits and Incentives tax processes Experience managing budgets, teams, and projects Proven excellence in a professional services or tax organization Strong research, technical writing, and prioritization skills Effective influencing skills and confidence to challenge existing processes Preferred Qualifications Experience in professional services or in-house financial industry roles Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, One Source Tax Compliance Software, Corptax, or Premium Pro Coaching and mentoring experience Ability to adapt work style to internal and client teams What We Look For We seek proactive individuals who are eager to improve processes, possess strong software skills, and can handle complex data. What We Offer Our compensation package is performance-based, including a base salary range of $133,700 to $305,400 in the US, with higher ranges in certain regions.
