As a Tax Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of tax compliance for clients across various industries. Key Responsibilities:
Client Service Excellence: Dedicated to delivering high-quality, responsive service to clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and expertise.
Tax Management: Oversee all phases of tax compliance for assigned clients, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
Team Leadership: Supervise and guide engagement teams, ensuring the efficient completion of projects while maintaining high standards.
Mentorship: Provide constructive feedback to staff and seniors, nurturing professional growth and development.
Client Relationship Management: Manage day-to-day client interactions, setting and managing expectations while building lasting relationships.
Business Development: Generate and assist with proposals, seeking opportunities for new client engagements.
Efficiency & Accuracy: Meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards in all aspects of work.
Collaboration & Teamwork: Thrive in a dynamic, collegial work environment while contributing to the success of the team and firm.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in taxation, particularly in public accounting.
Education: A Master's degree or 150 college credit hours, including accounting-related courses. A Bachelor's degree may be acceptable in some cases.
Certifications: CPA certification is required.
Specialized Knowledge: Expertise in corporate tax, ASC 740 tax accounting, and working with financial institutions or the banking industry is a plus.
Skills: Strong analytical, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Travel: Willingness to attend business development events, sometimes outside of regular business hours.
