Job Description

At Hayden Homes Amphitheater, we are the dreamers, the creators, the ones who make live performances, theater, concerts, and events some to life! Behind every curtain, every light, and every prop, there's a dedicated Stagehand making sure everything goes off without a hitch. If you're the type who loves a fast-paced, action-packed environment and you're excited to be part of something epic, we want YOU to join our crew! This is a seasonal, hourly position that works a split shift on concert days, starting at $20. Outdoor work environment, so be prepared for sunny days and possible smoke during fire season. This is a part time job and we hire on a show by show basis due to tour needs.

New employees should be aware that we uphold a high standard of professionalism when encountering high-profile bands. We expect you to keep it cool. No fan-girling, no sudden shrieks of excitement, and absolutely no sneaky selfies. We're here to work, not start our personal memorabilia collections. Keep it classy, keep it professional.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Behind-the-Scenes Wizardry - Whether it's moving sets, adjusting lights, or handling props, you'll be at the heart of the action, making sure everything is in place and ready for showtime.
  • Speedy Set Changes - You'll work quickly and efficiently to execute flawless scene changes. When the curtain falls, you're the one making it happen so the next act is set up in record time.
  • Fixing, Lifting, and Shifting - From adjusting the set to getting props to where they need to be, no task is too big (or to small) for you. Whether it's lifting heavy gear or dealing with last-minute tweaks, you're the go-to person to get things sorted.
  • Keeping the Show Running Smoothly - You'll be a part of the team ensuring that every performance goes off without a hitch. Any hiccups? No problem. You'll jump in, solve the issue, and keep the show rolling.
  • Teamwork at Its Best - You'll collaborate with fellow stagehands, touring crews, lighting, sound teams, and performers to make sure everyone is in sync and ready to go. Your coordination skills will make you an essential part of the production family.

What You Need:

  • A love for all things theater or live events and an eagerness to dive in and get your hands dirty (literally)
  • An eye for details - because when you're working behind the scenes, the smallest things make the biggest difference.
  • The ability to move fast and think on your feet. You're great at staying calm under pressure and keeping things on track.
  • A team player attitude! It's all about communication, collaboration, and supporting your crew to make the magic happen.
  • A willingness to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment (and look cool doing it!).

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have experience in theater, live events, or a related field (or you're super excited to learn on the job).
  • Have a knack for rigging, props, or set design (or just love being around it!).
  • Are known for your problem-solving skills and your ability to think fast when the lights go down and the chaos begins.

Perks:

  • Be part of the magic! You'll get to work on incredible live events, comedy shows, concerts, and more.
  • Work with a fun, energetic, and talented team who loves what they do (and knows how to have a good time).
  • Flexible hours - every production is different, so no two days will be the same.
  • An opportunity to learn and grow in the entertainment industry.

If you're ready to be the behind-the-scenes hero who makes the magic happen, apply now! Help us create unforgettable experiences, one flawless set change at a time!
