Charles River Development (CRD) is a rapidly growing and profitable financial software and services firm operating as part of State Street, integral to the Alpha product set. Customers include top investment management, wealth management, banking, and insurance firms. The Pod Lead role enhances long-term customer relationships through daily control, review, and improvement of operations and support processes. Role and Responsibilities This new role supports the growth and complexity of our business. It is critical to monitor and maintain service levels, impacting client relationships and business growth through continuous review and improvement of CRD’s operations, especially for key strategic clients. The Pod Lead will collaborate with Global and Regional Heads of Delivery to ensure operational control gates are observed, risks are escalated appropriately, and executive management is informed when necessary. The role also involves working with onboarding, upgrade teams, client management, and global operations to ensure process adherence and client lifecycle management. Responsibilities include process improvement based on data, enhancing internal and external reporting, ensuring platform availability, and managing operational controls, incident management, and client environments. The role requires ownership of change management communications, daily updates, escalation targets, business recovery, incident review, and management. General Requirements Minimum 8 years of experience in financial/software services, preferably with financial market information systems. Experience in SaaS environment with a focus on Service Management. Strong analytical skills using ServiceNow and Salesforce. Leadership experience, motivating technical teams under pressure. Proven process improvement capabilities and client management success. Knowledge of financial instruments across various asset classes and client-facing skills. Understanding of technical architectures, databases, and related tools. Ability to meet deadlines proactively and communicate effectively. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
