We are seeking a driven Senior Project Manager with experience in the construction industry to support multiple data center projects for a top technology client. This client-facing role requires strong interpersonal, communication, organizational skills, self-direction, client representation, and solid project management fundamentals. Experience managing multiple projects across regions and a background in data center development, design, engineering, controls, and operations is highly desirable. You will play a key role in mentoring staff, building long-term client relationships, and pursuing new business opportunities through strategy development, positioning, proposal, and contract negotiation. Responsibilities Apply modern project management techniques within complex, multi-functional organizations; understand engineering, design, procurement, safety, construction, and commissioning processes. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, communicating effectively with technical and management personnel. Manage projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring timely and effective delivery. Prepare and deliver presentations to management on project progress and findings. Review project plans, requirements, and specifications. Prepare RFPs, support contractor selection, and contract awards. Coordinate with contractors to establish CPM baseline schedules. Perform resource analysis to identify bottlenecks and resource strains. Identify risks and opportunities, providing mitigation strategies. Lead project meetings, document minutes, and track action items. Review and validate project progress, invoices, and pay applications. Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and liaise with design and construction teams. Contribute to business development through strategy, proposals, and negotiations. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: 20+ years of construction project management experience. Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or related field. Strong understanding of construction, mechanical, and electrical systems. Knowledge of pre-design, pre-construction, contract management, and building systems. Experience in report development for diverse audiences. Client-facing experience. Ability to communicate technical progress effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferred: Master's in construction management or related field. Experience with Earned Value Management. Membership in PMI, CCMA, or similar. PMP or CCM certification. Background in data center development. Position Details Location: Atlanta, Georgia (On-site) Type: Full-time, salaried US work permit required; no sponsorship provided.
