A Senior Executive Market Aligned Recruiter, Microsoft AI enables and drives our approach to hire critical leadership roles and deepens our knowledge of the dynamic landscape for top talent in the market via market research and engagement. This individual is well-connected into the external ecosystem and comfortable driving and owning the external sourcing strategy for executive leadership talent within Microsoft.

This role allows you to be innovative in your approach to map and connect with the external marketplace and develop sourcing strategies to target and assess top executive talent for today and tomorrow. The position is based in our Mountain View, CA office with an on-site requirement of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the implementation of short- and long-term hiring plans for complex organizations, including AI, Security, Data Centers, etc.
  2. Partner with executives, HR, and colleagues to determine current and future talent needs, gaps, and advise on market availability to ensure timely hires.
  3. Provide external talent maps, build competitive strategies, and educate on market realities.
  4. Engage and prepare candidates, proactively identifying potential adverse factors.
  5. Create innovative sourcing strategies to generate differentiated talent.
  6. Manage candidate assessment frameworks, maintain candidate data, and optimize staffing policies.
  7. Guide high-level candidates through the hiring process, ensuring their needs are met.
  8. Present talent gaps and hiring needs, and provide market insights to inform hiring plans.
  9. Embody Microsoft's culture and values.
