Position Summary
The Senior Manager of Domestic Recruitment and Retention is a key driver of enrollment growth and student success at CATS Academy Boston. Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management, this role leads the domestic admissions strategy while also overseeing the on-campus student experience and retention efforts. In addition to managing the entire admissions funnel-from inquiry through enrollment-the Senior Manager supervises the Senior Student Services Administrator (SSR), ensuring operational excellence in daily student support, onboarding, and retention-related communications. This role is ideal for a mission-driven, results-oriented leader with deep experience in consultative admissions and family engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Domestic Recruitment & Admissions
? Lead the domestic admissions pipeline, ensuring timely, high-quality engagement from inquiry through enrollment.
? Deliver a personalized and professional admissions experience to prospective families.
? Set and report on key recruitment metrics (inquiry-to-enrollment conversion, yield, event engagement, cost-per-lead).
? Develop and nurture relationships with feeder schools, consultants, and community organizations.
? Host admissions events, tours, and virtual information sessions to attract and convert prospective students.
? Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and campaigns to the domestic market.

Retention Strategy & Family Engagement
? Own student re-enrollment and retention data; develop proactive strategies to reduce attrition.
? Lead cross-departmental collaboration with academics and residential life to ensure continuity of student care.
? Develop family communication plans and ongoing engagement programming.
? Monitor satisfaction and implement changes based on family feedback and student experience data.

Team Leadership & Student Services Oversight
? Supervise the Senior Student Services Administrator, aligning front-line service with retention strategy.
? Ensure the SSR maintains accurate systems and high standards for communication, arrival logistics, attendance tracking, and reception operations.
? Coordinate onboarding and arrival processes to ensure a seamless start for new domestic students.
? Partner with the SSR to monitor and escalate patterns in student needs or service concerns.

Collaboration & Strategic Reporting
? Serve as a key contributor to weekly and termly enrollment and retention forecasting.
? Work closely with the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management to align efforts with institutional goals.
? Participate in strategic planning to shape the composition and satisfaction of the domestic student body.
? Represent CATS Academy Boston at local events and internal functions supporting growth and engagement.

Qualifications & Skills
? Bachelor's degree required; preferred in education, business, marketing, or communications.
? 3+ years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, or customer-focused education roles.
? Track record of meeting or exceeding recruitment and retention goals.
? Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
? Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Shackleton.
? Proficiency in analyzing data and communicating outcomes to stakeholders.
