To learn more about the Colas USA Family of Companies, please visit Job Summary SECON is seeking a Shop Expeditor. No experience vital but must be familiar with a shop environment. This position is non-union but is a phenomenal opportunity to gain experience for seeking union members. Main Responsibilities Follows the instructions of their manager: work schedule, etc. Prepares and prioritizes their work: coordinates the shop operations to be carried out, observes the deadlines, coordinates orders for supplies vital for maintenance... Keeping shop clean (i.e. sweeping, organizing, trash removal etc.) Cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles and equipment Moving parts within the shop area as advised by mechanics Pick up and deliver parts, also general office errands Ability to work under pressure and stressful situations while still maintaining cooperative working relationships with staff. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, self-motivated, multi-tasker, must be willing to work outside and not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get dirty. Have a safety-conscious attitude Skills CPR/First Aid Certification desired.
