Project Manager - Life Sciences

A leading provider of innovative solutions and services in the life sciences industry is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their team. This organization partners with some of the most recognizable brands in the sector, helping to drive growth, innovation, and impactful healthcare solutions. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside a team of over 500 experts dedicated to improving lives through science and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management activities within the life sciences industry, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Oversee lifecycle management for quality applications and support protocol development and execution.
  • Manage project scope, budget, timelines, and change orders.
  • Plan and execute medium to large-scale projects, iterating on new ideas to maximize return on investment.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and clients, addressing scope, timeline, and budget changes.
  • Provide clear and frequent project updates to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate problem-solving meetings using methodologies such as FMEA and root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate with business partners to define project teams and activities.
  • Manage cross-functional resources and dependencies to ensure project success.
  • Monitor and control project schedules, financials, and deliverables.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior leadership.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and conduct post-implementation reviews.
  • Track project KPIs and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Must be willing to work onsite in Portland, ME.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of industry experience.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success managing projects through the full lifecycle.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical project management and vendor coordination.
  • Strong risk management, team leadership, and analytical capabilities.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Word, Excel, and MS Project.

Additional Information:

  • Salary range (US): $85,000 - $128,960 USD, depending on experience, location, and market factors.
