The candidate should have vast experience in MitraClip, TAVR, and Watchamn procedures. The ideal candidate will provide anesthesia on a variety of cases as well as perform regional blocks, labor epidurals, and spinals from time to time. Please see job details for procedures and responsibilities.

The main hospital is approx. a 10-12 minute drive from the beach,45 minutes to Orlando, 3 hours to Miami, and2.5 hours to Tampa/ Clearwater.

Requirements

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited medical school
• ECFMG certification accepted
• Currently licensed in the state of Florida as a physician
• Board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiologists

Multiple Compensation Packages & Opportunities Offered:

Option 1: Employee Only + Call

• Generous base compensation with ability to make additional income for extra work.
• Call expectation-one weekday call per week and one weekend per month for general call.
• Waterfall schedule for all non-call/post-call days
• 6% 401k contributions with no requirement for employee to contribute
• Paid Time Off - 8 weeks. Ability to sell back time at 1.5x base hourly rate.
• Yearly CME stipend
• Health, life, vision, dental, LTD, and AD&D insurance offered.
• Contribution towards Health Savings Account offered for eligible plans
• Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage.
• Leadership opportunities available.

Option 2: Partnership Track

• One year to partnership

BPA is a physician-owned and operated community-based group of more than 150 physicians and advanced level practitioners formed in October 2013. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive, cost-efficient integrated service that facilitates patient satisfaction, quality, and outcomes in the specialties of anesthesiology, emergency medicine, and radiology.

BPA provides services to four Health First hospitals: Holmes Regional Medical Center, Cape Canaveral Hospital, Viera Hospital, Palm Bay Hospital, Melbourne GI Center, and several free-standing diagnostic centers.
