NNP - 12-hour Shifts - Affluent Palm Beach Suburb of Wellington

Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our dynamic team at Wellington Regional Medical Center . This is a unique opportunity to support our expanding Level III NICU , while enjoying the lifestyle and amenities of one of South Florida's most desirable, upscale, suburban communities.

 

Your Role at a Glance:

• Schedule : 12-hour daytime shifts in the NICU, with rotating weekends
• Staffing Model :
  • 4.5 Neonatologists providing 24/7 in-house coverage
  • 2.3 NNPs covering the NICU during the day
  • 1 dedicated provider covering the newborn nursery
• Responsibilities :
  • Care for patients in the Level III NICU
  • Attend high-risk deliveries
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification as an NNP
• Minimum of a master's degree
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
• NRP certification
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Confident, autonomous, and team-oriented
