Job Description

Inspect engine components by means of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, specifically Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection to ensure conformance with acceptance criteria.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Prefer related experience in NDT methods, specifically with Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection.
• Experience with X-Ray inspection is a plus.
• Knowledge of the use of NDT inspection methods.
• Ability to read and interpret FAA regulations and guidance material.
• Experience in aviation component repair preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of ISO-9001 quality system standards preferred.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and engine manual instructions.
• Basic knowledge of MS office programs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• NDT Level 2 certification

• Exhibit strong skills in material identification.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills.
• Exhibit basic computer skills.
• Plan and organize work to meet deadlines.
• Understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to read a tape measure (imperial and metric).
• Ability to work closely with others.
