Position/Job Goal: Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Guadalupe is seeking passionate and dedicated full-time math and science instructors for grades 9-12. The ideal candidate will have a background in mathematics and/or science, a love for teaching, and a commitment to the Catholic intellectual tradition. In this role, the selected candidate may provide instruction in the disciplines of Euclidean Geometry, Algebra I & II, Pre-calculus, Astronomy and/or Physics according to the Chesterton Academy Classical Curriculum. The selected candidate will also act as a role model for students, and work in collaboration with faculty and staff in furthering the mission of the academy. Qualifications: A bachelor's or master's degree in mathematics or general science is required. Two to Five years of teaching experience is preferred. A familiarity with Classical Education is preferred. Must be a practicing Roman Catholic willing to take an Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium and a Profession of Faith. Must demonstrate excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills. Possess an understanding of the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.
