Position Overview

Join our team as an In-Plant Service Consultant, a vital role situated directly within our strategic partner's facility. Here, you'll deliver top-notch service and ensure continued client satisfaction by smoothly handling procurement, order placement, and our MSC ControlPoint Solutions.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to facilitate order placements, quotations, and savings tracking.
  • Manage MSC's ControlPoint Solutions, engaging in inventory monitoring and product optimization.
  • Collaborate on key projects to determine sourcing strategies, leveraging Category Team insights.
  • Participate actively in client production meetings and strategic projects, including Lean/Six Sigma events.
  • Anticipate and effectively resolve product and service concerns on-site.
  • Use innovative solutions and consultation to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; college education preferred.
  • Minimum of two years in relevant communication or inventory management roles.
  • Industry knowledge and military experience advantageous.
  • Outstanding customer interaction and problem-solving skills are essential.
