Position Overview

Rhino USA is looking for a hands-on Director of Product Management to lead and scale RHINO USA’s core product categories: Cargo Management, Recovery Gear, Towing Products, and Camping Gear. This senior leader will own the product lifecycle from strategy to go-to-market, build and mentor high-performing category teams, and drive growth through innovation, customer-centric design, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the overall product strategy and roadmap aligned with RHINO USA’s vision and growth goals.
  • Lead category ownership for cargo, recovery, towing, and camping—ensuring each has a clear market differentiation and scalable potential.
  • Translate customer needs, market trends, and brand aspirations into actionable product development initiatives.

Team Building & Management

  • Lead and grow a team of category managers, product developers, and cross-functional contributors.
  • Establish KPIs and OKRs for product success, team performance, and delivery timelines.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation across teams.

Product Development & Lifecycle

  • Drive product ideation, validation, prototyping, and launch—from initial concept to post-launch analysis.
  • Partner with sourcing, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance.
  • Oversee packaging, pricing, positioning, and merchandising strategies for B2B and ecommerce channels.

Ecommerce & Channel Alignment

  • Collaborate with marketing and ecommerce teams to optimize product discoverability, conversion, and retention online.
  • Integrate customer feedback from reviews, returns, and support tickets into iterative product improvements.
  • Align product content, media assets, and storytelling across Amazon, DTC, and retail platforms.

Market Insights & Innovation

  • Lead ongoing competitive analysis and category trend reporting to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of innovations in line with brand standards, customer needs, and business goals.
  • Explore strategic partnerships, licensing, or co-branding opportunities to expand product reach.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of product management leadership experience, ideally in CPG, ecommerce, and physical goods.
  • Proven success in launching and scaling product lines with measurable business impact.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with hands-on product development experience.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Passion for outdoor lifestyle, automotive accessories, or off-road culture is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
