Eucharist Church, an Anglican (ACNA) congregation in San Francisco, is seeking a part-time Director of Childrens Ministry to help nurture and spiritually form our growing community of children (40+) and families. Our vision is to be formed together into a community of disciples who live all of life in reference to Christ , and we desire a leader who will partner with the rector and staff to develop a holistic, vibrant approach to childrens ministry that integrates the life of the home, Sunday worship, catechesis, and outreach.
We are looking for a baptized Christian with a vibrant personal faith, orthodox theology, and a liturgical/sacramental awareness who can teach and lead children, youth, and adult volunteers with clarity and warmth. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a church, ministry, or educational setting, with a strong understanding of child development, administrative competence, and the ability to build and inspire volunteer teams. This role includes overseeing weekly childrens programming during Sunday worship, ensuring child safety protocols, coordinating volunteers, and creatively nurturing the faith of our children through engaging curriculum and events. This is a 20-hour per week position, offering the opportunity to invest deeply in a dynamic urban congregation seeking to grow in faith together.
