Position Summary

This team member will have primary responsibility for coordinating the inbound/outbound package activities of the in-center parcel management operation. This includes receiving, processing, staging, and delivering all inbound and outbound packages from the venue/center using an electronic last mile tracking system with limited supervision. The role involves interfacing regularly with all levels inside the venue and event customer organizations. The team member must be proficient with various computer systems and capable of meeting the physical demands of the position. Additionally, this role encompasses functions performed by Center Consultant team members.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all shipping-related services and activities, including maintaining logs, preparing parcels for pickup, and sorting incoming parcels.
  • Utilize proprietary software and equipment to perform job functions, including managing mobile equipment where applicable.
  • Pick-up and deliver customer packages within the facility.
  • Provide high-quality customer service by anticipating needs, suggesting solutions, and resolving issues independently.
  • Assemble parcels, prepare goods for shipping, and handle packaging tasks.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other handling equipment as needed.
  • Follow all safety and security guidelines.
  • Assist customers with shipping options and provide information on products and services.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and prioritize customer requests.
  • Handle customer service issues, including refunds and mis-labeled packages.
  • Troubleshoot routine equipment problems and may lead shift operations.
  • Assist in training team members and perform administrative duties like inventory control and ordering supplies.
  • Operate point of sale terminals, ensure accurate fee collection, and perform daily close-outs.
  • Support digital printing and other business center services, including taking orders and providing pricing information.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least six months of related experience (warehouse or hospitality preferred).
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills.
  • Proficient with computer systems and quick to learn new software.
  • Ability to pass OSHA certification if required.
  • Ability to lift and move 75 pounds unassisted and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance.
  • Physical stamina to walk up to 10 miles per shift.

Essential Functions

  • Stand for entire shift, excluding breaks.
  • Lift and move packages weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Bend, twist, and communicate effectively.
  • Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain regular attendance and support business hours.

Preferred Qualifications
