Job Title: Chemical Mixer
Job Description

Join an oil & gas company specializing in the production of fluids for offshore drilling machines. As a Chemical Mixer, you will operate a chemical mixer/blender on the production floor, following detailed instructions to mix chemicals into machines. Comprehensive training will be provided. When not mixing chemicals, you will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to move totes, and to unload and load trucks. The role requires the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mix a high volume of chemicals to create specialty products.
• Follow specific recipes accurately when mixing chemicals.
• Operate a hilo (sitdown/standup - propane and electric) to move materials.
• Drive a sit-down forklift to move totes within aisles and handle truck loading/unloading.

Essential Skills

• Experience in manufacturing and production.
• Forklift experience, particularly with sit-down forklifts.
• Ability to follow instructions for mixing chemicals.
• Capability to lift up to 55 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Background in chemical manufacturing.
• Forklift certification is advantageous.
• Experience with blending chemicals.
• Ability to work efficiently and quickly.

Work Environment

You will work in both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned areas, depending on the day's tasks. The environment is clean, and you will be required to wear steel-toed boots, jeans, a work shirt, and safety glasses. The role operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 6 am to 3 pm, with occasional overtime available.

This is a Contract position based out of Pasadena, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
