The Building Services Coordinator ensures the smooth operation, maintenance, and safety of the organization’s facilities. This role serves as the primary point of contact for building-related services, including maintenance, vendor management, space utilization, and workplace support. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate building operations, including maintenance, repairs, and preventive care.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with vendors, service providers, and contractors for building-related services.
  • Monitor and manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities resources.
  • Oversee space planning, room assignments, and utilization of common areas.
  • Assist with safety and compliance initiatives, including building inspections and emergency procedures.
  • Respond promptly to building-related requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and vendor services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support events, office moves, and facility upgrades.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in facilities coordination, office management, or building services.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software.
  • Knowledge of safety, compliance, and building maintenance best practices.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
