Job Summary

The Brand Strategy Specialist will support CJ Taste & Nutrition business strategy and communications activity. The individual in this role will develop and implement methods to enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and overall brand perception, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with business goals.

Success in this position requires strong analytical, technical, and communications skills to develop and implement strategic portfolio plans and communication strategies for CJ BIO Taste & Nutrition (TN) products across multiple segments globally.

Job Description and Responsibilities

• Differentiate CJ as a company by effectively communicating value at multiple levels and departments in the customer organizations to include purchasing, nutrition and health, production and operations.
• Complete new business and product projects with global members and contribute to business objectives, strategies, and tactics to target new market.
• Identify local and global team needs, requirements and expectations for events and provide support with execution of onsite event coordination and scheduling.
• Serve as cornerstone for organizational brand objectives by managing designs and editing publications of promotional materials and communications for the Taste and Nutrition business within US and worldwide.
• Analyze global tradeshow campaign effectiveness for continuous improvement and optimization by collecting tradeshow metrics and submitting findings.
• Collaborate with internal resources and external stakeholders to enhance brand image in the industry.
• Support the design, plan, and creation of sales enablement tools to support our field sales teams.
• Generate regular metric reports and presentations for the department and Sales team with market trends and reviews.
• Develop and implement key account strategies which drive and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Work with Taste & Nutrition team to strategically identify new key target accounts, open and develop relationships with key stakeholders to introduce CJ and our offerings to develop opportunities with the accounts.
• Effectively communicate and keep records current using CRM tools (Salesforce, etc.)
• Remain informed of food industry market industry trends, competitor activity and developments.
• Manage company activities such as social media postings, purchasing marketing/sales-related event materials and organization of business events (tradeshows, workshops, etc.)
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Job Qualifications, Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3-4 years of experience in Marketing, Business Operations, or related field.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited college with minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing, Business Operations, or related field.

• Experience in Marketing Strategy with B2B industry strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of sales and operations in the food ingredient industry preferred.

• Travel: up to 10% travel may be required for this role

• High computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including excel

• Ability to communicate effectively and participate in a continuous improvement culture, including utilizing problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills including the ability to present technical data.
• Strong organizational skills with minimal direct supervision requirements.
• Demonstrated success in a result driven, team environment.
