Bookkeeper or Accounting Assistant Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $23.00 to $25.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• In this role, you'll support a range of accounting functions across the firm
• Assist with individual tax returns to supporting municipal audits, you'll have the opportunity to apply your current skills while gaining new experience in a variety of areas
• Assist with tax preparation by gathering documents and entering data for individuals and small businesses
• Provide audit support, including data collection and organization for municipalities, school districts, and non-profits

Bookkeeper or Accounting Assistant Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or Accounting Certificate (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of general accounting experience
• Experience with tax preparation (individual and business)
• Audit or municipal audit experience
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Adobe
• Ability to work a flexible schedule especially during tax season

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
