Colonial Theatre - BOSTON
POSITION: Barback/Food & Beverage Runner
LOCATION: Boston, MA
HOURS: Part time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
COMPENSATION: $16 hourly, plus tips
ABOUT THE POSITION
· Responsible for set up and stocking of Food & Beverage products and equipment on all bar and service areas from start through duration of shifts.
· Maintain tidiness and appropriate stock levels in a high-volume atmosphere.
· Responsible for the delivered-at-seat service program, both prepping and delivering orders to guests at their seats.
· Serving patrons at mobile bar carts.
· Changing kegs and gas containers as needed.
· Expected to follow all venue operating policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
· Attend mandatory training.
· Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE and SKILLS
· Knowledge of basic bar practices and tools.
· Basic knowledge of types of beer, wine and liquor.
· Demonstrated experience in working in a high-volume, fast paced setting.
· Ability to communicate and work efficiently as part of a large team.
· Capable of providing exceptional customer service.
COMPETENCIES
· Must be physically capable of carrying heavy items up and down multiple flights of stairs.
· Must be capable of following all laws, building codes, ordinances, policies, risk management, and emergency procedures.
· Ability to maintain composure under stress.
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
