About the Role

We’re seeking an  eager, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with a strong interest in  payroll and bookkeeping to join our team. This is a  client-facing fast-paced , and  high-responsibility position that combines administrative support, project coordination, and hands-on accounting tasks.

This role will involve:

  • Working closely with CPAs and support staff
  • Performing  payroll processing and  monthly bookkeeping
  • Managing administrative tasks and assisting with  front desk responsibilities
  • Taking ownership of project timelines and priorities

Over time, this person will receive  training to become a Payroll Specialist , gaining firsthand accounting knowledge and valuable experience in a supportive, hands-on environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for various business clients with attention to deadlines and compliance
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks including data entry, reconciliations, and account maintenance
  • Provide exceptional customer service by serving as a main point of contact for clients
  • Support CPAs with administrative needs, document management, and scheduling
  • Coordinate internal deadlines and assist with project and task management
  • Assist with general office duties, phones, and emails

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills ; able to work well with clients and team members
  • Highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a high-pressure, multitasking environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable with fast-paced workloads and shifting priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online is a plus
  • Excellent computer and typing skills
